Omaha Organization for the Purpose of Storytelling was organized in November of 1986 by Mary Heise, Sheila Schumacher, Jayne Palmer and Judy Vitters. It incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Monthly meetings encourage beginning and more polished storytellers to share stories.
